It was the time of azan. Muhammad The Last Prophet heard the call of prayer. He rose to his feet while answering the Muezza, and looked for his robe. There was his robe, a bit shabby yet clean. And there was Muezza, his tabby cat, snoozing on the sleeve of his robe, in the tranquility of a cat’s dream. Looking at Muezzim in a calm deep sleep, one would wonder what a cat dreams about. Is it about the chasing mice or being chased by giant mice?. Muezza wasn’t smiling but seemed so. Most cats are like that. And that makes one amused looking at that adorable creature. It’s a soothing (more…)

Week 3- Sport and Work
Manchester United
I watched the Manchester United game against Birmingham City last night.United won 5-0 with the hat-trick form Berbatov(picture) and one goal scored by Giggs and Nani. United has through 22 unbeaten games this season and if the players maintain the current performance, at the end of season they can reach the record hold my Arsenal few years ago by wining the League with unbeaten record for the whole season.

The Social Network-a Brilliant Idea that Changed the World
I watched The Social Network last night, the story of genius Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, which now become a global social network and a revolution in communication and make the world become smaller through the internet. It’s really a brilliant story and a brilliant idea by Mark which later become the youngest Millionaire.
I love the autobiography films, especially those about the famous and success person because a lot of thing we can learn from them. It’s also motivating and inspiring. A film such as the Pursuit of Happiness bring such humanity values while in this film, I think it’s more about the business idea. Mark, as a person who did the program codes for Facebook has been sued by Cameron Winklevoss and Tyler Winklevoss, identical twins and members of Harvard’s rowing team. The twins claim that Mark stolen their idea. What to say is the business idea is not protected, laws protect inventions with patents, creative works with copyright, and trade names (more…)

This post is derived from Sheikh Hamza Yusuf’s audio lecture in the rights and responsibility of a husband and a wife (and children).
In one of the many lectures, he mentions that Saydina Ali Karamullahu Wajhah reminded us not to be depressed over matters in this world.
