Finally, after long-waited I have the Sami Yusuf new album, Salaam. Thanks to someone who helped me to get this and send through Pos Laju to me. Very much appreciate her.
Unpacked the Pos Laju Parcel.
Finally…in my hand.
Previously, when I bought Maher Zain album, Forgive me and Irfan Makki I believe, it comes with lyrics book that attached inside the album. But not for this Salaam album.
Salaam album came with 16 tracks. Some of them have been released earlier in YouTube such as Forgotten Promises, It’s a Game and I am Your Hope.
Sami Yusuf keep his traditional music styles, singing in english and mixed with arabic, malay and urdu. Listen to Sami songs never fail to make me smile and cheer. Excellent job Sami!!!.
Salam and peace to all.
I don’t whether the below writing is supposed to be a song lyric or a kind of poem. I wrote it in the office at the time that I have nothing to do. I wrote it step by step, little by little, day by day. Wherever I have an idea, I would write on notebook until I finished it. I am not poetry or song writer, so the below piece of art might not well written and convey the real message.
What To Do? Where To Go?
What to do?
Where to go?
If no one cares,
Put your in the chest,
Say all is well,
I got more problem than yourself,
But you know that only perception.
I cannot recalled when exactly I start to love the english nasyeed. But I guess it was in university even before Maher Zain make his appearance in music industry. I was inspired by the song of Yusuf Islam and his long life journey to Islam which has a lot to learn. Most of his song even before his conversion has deep meaning with a good lyric and his own style.
I list down 17 best English Nasyeed video clips, please enjoy;

“Saya nak bagi tahu sesuatu dengan awak..ermm..confession, supaya awak tak pandang rendah pada saya. I’m still a virgin, ya..saya masih dara….”
Saya bukanlah peminat tegar filem melayu. Seperti orang lain, plot cerita filem (more…)
I watched The Social Network last night, the story of genius Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, which now become a global social network and a revolution in communication and make the world become smaller through the internet. It’s really a brilliant story and a brilliant idea by Mark which later become the youngest Millionaire.
I love the autobiography films, especially those about the famous and success person because a lot of thing we can learn from them. It’s also motivating and inspiring. A film such as the Pursuit of Happiness bring such humanity values while in this film, I think it’s more about the business idea. Mark, as a person who did the program codes for Facebook has been sued by Cameron Winklevoss and Tyler Winklevoss, identical twins and members of Harvard’s rowing team. The twins claim that Mark stolen their idea. What to say is the business idea is not protected, laws protect inventions with patents, creative works with copyright, and trade names (more…)
Filem (more…)
The first Islamic rock star, Sami Yusuf has released his new album Wherever You Are in Dubai on November 9. After 7 millions album sales, and the unprecedented success of Al Muallim and My Ummah, the new chapter finally begins with the releases of Sami Yusuf’s third album. Drawing from the experiences of the past few years, the album came with the deep and heartfelt lyrics to promote a universal message of love and tolerance.
What Yusuf Said?
Yusuf told tabloid! the eleven-track album is inspired by personal stories. “It’s like a diary, very intimate and very personal.
“Wherever You Are still has the same spirit, but I’ve evolved. My music has matured,” he said. “I compose my own music; I write my own stuff. Everything on this album has been played by myself pretty much,” he said. (more…)
Born as a Muslim doesn’t make you a real Muslim, and it doesn’t make sure that you to know everything about Islam. In fact some of us don’t have a real sense of belonging to Islam. We just have the Islam name but in daily life, we don’t really practice Islam.
I am struggling to be a good Muslim for the couple of years but sadly to say, there is no much change as expected. I am still life in the same condition and the same way of life. It’s hard to change if you only have inner strength but nobody besides to encourage you, to tell if you have done something wrong or at least to show you the way as you move in the your daily.
Few days ago, I was listening to the song that make me cried, make me feel fool, make me feel innocent to (more…)
There is no real happiness in this world until the death is coming.
